1. The Latino population is the fastest growing sector of the population in the USA.
2. In 1980, the Census Bureau reported 14.6 million Latinos; by 1990, the number was 22.3 million.
3. The current number stands at 43,500,000. By 2010 the population is expected to be 56 million strong.

9. Advertising expenditures in the U.S. Latino market have reached $3 billion.
10. The top fifty advertisers alone have increased spending in the Latino market from $658 million in 2000 to over $1.5 billion in 2005.
11. Online spending by Latino advertisers has increased from $10 million in 2002, to approximately $100 million by the end of 2005.
