need is nicely shaped brows, M.A.C.
Studio Mist foundation (my pick for the
summer), tropical color blush, sparkling
lip-gloss and, Zoom...you're out the
door! Forget about eyelash curlers and
mascara that at some point will need to
be reapplied. The lashes are synthetic
and come in a variety of lengths and
colors. And for super sized glam, you
can have mink lashes applied just like
J. Lo and Madonna.
Lashes are applied individually to your
own lashes and the application for a
full-set takes approximately 2 ½ hours.
Lashes can last up to six weeks
depending on your own natural lashes
shedding cycle; touch-ups every 3 weeks
will keep your lashes looking luscious
and full at all times. The lashes can be
worn while swimming, as well as short
visits to the sauna.
Before having lashes applied, make sure
the extensionist is a trained
professional. Don't be afraid to ask for
proof of certification and insurance.
The cost for this service ranges from
$175 - $750 for a full-set and a relash
is approximately, $45 - $75 per hour.
These fees depend on what part of the
country you reside in and the experience
level of the technician.
So, go out and take full advantage of
the summer weather by exercising
outdoors, having dinner parties on the
deck and finding relief from the heat by
taking a dip in the pool. All of the
activities require that you look your
best at all times with minimal effort!
