THE STUDDED BELT. It’s
all about accessories and belts are
still a hot commodity. You will see
every character wearing one at different
times throughout the movie. The studded
belt was worn by Carrie more than a few
times a few different ways. I personally
loved the belt but thought it was
strange how often she wore it.
THE PEARLS. Carrie continually wore a
single strand of pearls throughout the
movie. She even wore them to bed. I
believe I counted them 5 or 6 times
while I was watching. Then my friend
next to me said, “The pearls again?” I
laughed out loud. Were these meant to
make such a statement? Are we going to
see pearls on everyone now? I personally
have been wearing my multi strand one
more recently. Will the single long
strand be the next hottest accessory?
THE 80’s. Samantha was a total 80’s
throw back, with a little 70’s mixed in.
Over the top definitely, but she lived
in Hollywood now. Is that how they’re
dressing out there? I don’t see it
happening on the east coast. We do have
our 80’s mix but not a full throw back.
Thank goodness she’s coming home!
THE WEDDING GOWN #1. Absolutely
Gorgeous! Vivienne Westwood out did
herself. The bird/feather head piece,
great for Carrie general public would
have trouble pulling it off.
THE WEDDING GOWN #2. Shoes can make or
break an outfit and the shoes made it!
I loved the fact they threw in the bag,
borrow or steal web site. This is a real
site. The web address is

Louise ( Jennifer Hudson) looked great.
Her role may have been small but she
wore it well, literally.
The makeup seemed a little heavy to me
with the main characters. Too much can
make you look older and that is what I
noticed.
Of course at times Carrie was overdone,
Miranda sometimes looking “under done”,
Charlotte always looked appropriate for
Charlotte,
Samantha, although older, still shining
and but isn’t that what we expect from
this show?
I enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed the
styles.
