Several have been
featured in fashion magazines, many
retail their merchandise across the
country and others have their customary
display areas. Whichever category, the
one thing they have in common is
“Fabulous & Unique Style”.
Two of my personal favorites are Elma
Blint and Glittersville.
Elma Blint designs necklaces, rings and
earrings in silver, platinum and 18kt
gold. She uses exotic stones in many of
her pieces. A Jamaica native and FIT of
New York graduate Elma gives her jewelry
a style that touches individuals in a
very personal manner. My favorite pieces
are the necklace with the initial
pendant and the Brooklyn bracelet. I may
not be from Brooklyn, but the piece is
so hot I might have to front!!!
Her jewelry is available at The Market
NYC, She Bangs in Chicago, Heroes &
Honeys in CA, Peel Gallery in Houston
and Stuart & Wright (in where else?)
Brooklyn.

Glittersville has magnificent shoes and
clothing at great prices!! I fell in
love with a pair of yellow flats adorned
with marvelously gigantic bow, at $49 I
had to get them!
The clothing is very unique and stylish,
perfect strangers (if there is such a
thing) will stop and ask "Where did you
get that outfit?” especially if you are
sporting Jack Sims or Bonnie Yuen
designs.

Vanessa's Bio
Vanessa
has an eclectic background in fashion. In 1994 she
opened a retail shop in Hartford,CT. Her eye for
buying and visual merchandising made it one of the
hottest urban stores in the area. In 2002 she
started fashion styling for a local magazine
eventually moving to New York to continue freelance
fashion styling. She has styled for such acts as
Expose, CL Smooth, Summer Rayne, and local celebrity
Janet Peckinpaugh.
She has
also styled for national magazines, national ads and
music videos. Now, back in Hartford she is still
styling and is also back in retail selling costume
jewelry and accessories. She looks forward in
sharing her thoughts and ideas on fashion and will
be concentrating on all the fabulous designers.
