Regulations and Disclaimer
The Baby Contest is for U.S. participants only. The three babies with the most
online votes win the prizes. The contest will have 3 rounds, which are as
follows:
Parents, friends and loved ones may submit a baby’s picture directly to
Babbalu.com. Entries will be posted on the website on a page(s) designated for
this contest. The babies will be eligible to receive votes for four weeks
starting on June 20, 2008.
The 50 babies with the most votes move to the second round and will remain
posted for two additional weeks.
The 10 babies with the most votes move to the third round and after two weeks
the babies with the most votes win the first place prize, followed by second and
third places. The contest shall end on August 15, 2008. See schedule of prizes
below.
Prize Information:
1. First place – $1,000 Savings Bond compliments of Babbalu.com (bank of your
choice, must be Babbalu.com approved.)
2. Second place – $750 Shopping Spree from Babies R Us
3. Third place – $500 Shopping Spree from Stop & Shop / Giant
The rules are very simple:
• Participant has to be between the ages of 0-4 years old, at time of entry.
• Entries will be posted as they enter.
• The contest will run for eight weeks.
• Voters may vote once every 15 minutes.
• The babies with the most votes win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
• Upon entry, each contestant will automatically receive 100 votes to start.
• 1 vote every 15 minutes per IP address for the general online visitor wishing
to cast a vote.
By entering a contest you agree to these terms:
1. Anyone visiting this Web site under the terms outlined is eligible to enter
the contest. To qualify, all entries must be submitted using the electronic form
provided. Your entry MUST include all of the information requested, including a
working E-mail address for contact purposes. Only one entry per person per
contest may be submitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified. Other than baby
photos, no files or other attachments may accompany contest entries. Persons of
any age are eligible to enter a contestant unless otherwise stated on the given
contest page. However, contest winners under the age of 18 will be requested to
confirm any mailing addresses for prize delivery through a parent or legal
guardian.
2. Winners will be notified by E-mail. Winners must submit their full name and
mailing address for status and prize verification. This information will NOT be
distributed to any mailing lists or used for any other purpose* other than
Babbalu.com, its partners and/or affiliates. (*Only the winner's name will be
posted on the Contest Winners page.) It will be necessary to provide the
winner's name and mailing address for prize shipment and delivery. Instructions
for obtaining your prize will be included with winner information.
3. If a selected winner can't be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a
prize, an alternative winner will be selected.
4. Prizes are non negotiable or exchangeable for cash or other prizes.
5. Prizes will be mailed to the winning contestant within two weeks of the
contest conclusion. In the event that programming errors, computer hacking,
personal blunders, prize cancellation by the sponsors, or any other cause leads
to prize not being available, the contest administrator has absolutely no
liability per the contest being offered, as this promotion was offered in good
faith.
6. By entering the contest, contestants relieve Babbalu.com and anyone else
associated with the contest of ALL LIABILITY for the prize product, its
performance, merchantability, availability, etc. Babbalu.com and anyone else
associated with the contest are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
(I) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or
unintelligible entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software
program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties;
(iii) errors in transmission; (iv) any condition caused by events that may cause
the contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any losses, or damages of any kind
caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize,
or from participation in the contest; or (vi) any printing or typographical
errors in any materials associated with the contest.
7. No purchase required; Contest is active for a limited time only. Babbalu.com
reserves the right to withdraw this contest without prior notice and to
disqualify any entry or winner, for any reason whatsoever. Babbalu.com reserves
the right to substitute prizes if needed.
8. Any participant who tries to use an automatic script to vote for their
submitted baby will be found and automatically be disqualified. Voting must be
done manually and is only allowed one time per 15 minute increment, and per IP address.
9. Babbalu.com is not responsible for any technical difficulties that a
contestant may experience. Babbalu.com cannot compensate for Internet companies
such as AOL and their connectivity.
